restaurant brands.
Baristas developed Costume Coffee through service, branding, merchandise, expansion and television. Locations and franchise plans extended the business beyond the Pacific Northwest into Texas, Arizona, Florida and New Jersey.
Munchie Magic, Minibar Magic and Thai-Dah carried that category building instinct into delivery first restaurants. The concepts used a shared technology layer to bring branded menus, snacks, hot foods and specialty offerings onto major delivery networks, creating multiple consumer facing restaurants from a connected operating platform.
Regulatory foresight
Exosphere Aircraft.
Barry owned and led Exosphere Aircraft Company with iconic aeronautical designer Jim Bede. The company pursued the BD-22 and BD-22S around the opportunity created by the FAA Light Sport Aircraft framework.
Bede’s health problems and subsequent passing ended the company before the design program could be completed.
